Blessed Baptism of the Lord!
As we celebrate the Baptism of Jesus, we remember with gratitude that Jesus opened the waters of baptism for us, so that, through our baptism we could become beloved sons and daughters of God.
One way to celebrate the Baptism of the Lord can be to pray through the promises you made (or that your parents made for you) at your Baptism. Here's a

Today's feast brings the liturgical season of Christmas to a close, and tomorrow begins the first week of Ordinary Time. "Ordinary Time is a time for growth and maturation"* What a joy to start this season with all of you as we strive to grow in deeper discipleship and invite others to do the same!
May we live all our daily practices with extraordinary love and hope!

This Week in Emmaus 90
This is our final week of preparation before we start the 90-day countdown to Easter (on January 20). We strive to live authentic Christian community and to encourage others to join us. We also begin to reflect on how living Sundays well can help us along our way.

2) Share a time in your life when someone recognized gifts you possessed or a need you had and committed themselves to caring and developing you.
3) Give an example of someone in your life who has held you accountable or spoken the truth to you in love.

Those who only have the Christmas Edition can find the Guidebook PDF on the Pilgrim Page (or sign up today at archmil.org/emmaus-90 to receive your Guidebook by mail).
Still Need a Pilgrim Group?
It's not too late to invite friends or family to join you! January 20 is a great time for people to start the Emmaus 90 journey, as it begins our 90-day countdown to Easter. We encourage you to invite someone to join you this week!
Ask the Lord to help you to identify:
- Who would you like to be with you on this journey into deeper relationship with God?
- Who would you like to help you along the way?
- Who is someone who loves you and encourages you?
- Who is someone you'd like to "grow up to be like" spiritually?
- Who would you like to encourage to grow in their faith?
- Who do you wish knew that God loved them and is with them?
- Who do you know is hungry to grow?
- Who is searching for something more?
Invite them to join you on this Emmaus 90 journey this week. Encourage them to Register HERE BY January 14 (That's end of day Tuesday).
Those who register by January 14, receive the Guidebook by mail before January 20 (when the 90-day countdown to Easter begins). Registration will stay open after January 14 and they will receive all our resources electronically, but we cannot guarantee that they will receive a printed Guidebook.
